A Really Chill Coastal City
Ensenada has such a relaxed feel compared to other border towns. It's a great mix of a working port and a tourist spot. The people are super welcoming, and the ocean air is just fantastic. It felt safe to walk around and explore the main areas.
Incredible Food and Wine
Came for the wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe and was blown away. The wineries are world-class. Back in town, the seafood is amazing. The street-side fish tacos are a must-try, so fresh and delicious. Definitely a top spot for food lovers.
Perfect Cruise Stop
We only had a day here off the cruise ship, but it was great. The port is right downtown, so you can just walk off and start exploring. Found some nice shops and had a fantastic lunch. It was a really easy and enjoyable port of call for the family.
Awesome Natural Sights
Ensenada is more than just a city; the drive down the coast is beautiful. We went out to see La Bufadora blowhole and it was pretty cool to see the power of the ocean like that. The whole coastline is rugged and makes for some great pictures.
Fun Downtown Area
Spent a lot of time just walking down Avenida Primera. It's full of little shops, bars, and places to eat. It was easy to find souvenirs without being hassled too much. The whole area has a fun, festive feel, especially in the evening.
Great Weekend Escape
It's such an easy drive for a quick getaway. The pace of life just slows down as soon as you get there. Loved sitting by the marina with a cold drink and just watching the boats. It's a simple, no-fuss place to unwind for a couple of days.
